Project: Remedial works to the West Wharf at Dunmore East Fishery Harbour

Brief Overview:

These works included the demolition of the existing wharf, and the reconstruction of the new wharf including pile encasement works and new deck construction whilst working in a tidal environment

Key Elements:

• Demolition and disposal of approx. 50 metres of the existing Wharf structure
• Construction of new part in situ reinforced concrete and part reinforced precast concrete structure on existing piles
• Remove & dispose of the existing surfacing to the west of the wharf, reset all manhole and access covers and resurface to specification
• Installation of ladders, bollards and toe rails
• New fendering system
• Electrical services
• Diversion of existing services.

• Ancillary works including pile repairs, rock armouring
