These works involved the demolition and reconstruction repair works to the West Pier at Helvick Harbour, Co. Waterford. The pier is of concrete construction and was in a state of disrepair. The site is located at the at Helvick Harbour, Co. Waterford. The harbour is a busy fishing harbour and is home to the RNLI Helvick Head Lifeboat Station. The area is tidal and subject to high winds and wave overtopping.
